爲遏制超前教育，近日教育部正式印發了《3-6歲兒童學習與發展指南》，以提高廣大幼兒園教師的專業素質和家長的科學育兒能力，防止和克服學前教育“小學化”傾向。

The Ministry of Education released guidelines on early childhood education on Monday, in an effort to curb the growing practice of young children being educated in a way that pushes them beyond what children at their age should learn.

教育部於週一發佈了有關兒童早期教育的指南，以遏制日益盛行的超前教育行爲。

Early childhood education就是“兒童早期教育”，這裏主要指針對preschool children（學齡前兒童）的教育。指南在health（健康）、language（語言）、social ability（社會）、science（科學）以及arts（藝術）等方面列出了detailed development criteria（詳細的發展標準）。

很多家長都認爲“不能讓孩子輸在起跑線上（you cannot let your child lag behind at the starting point）”，很多幼兒園兒童都長期奔波於piano class（鋼琴班）、painting class（繪畫班）、dancing class（舞蹈班）等各類訓練班中，同時還要在幼兒園提前開始學習primary school courses（小學課程）。
