个体英语怎么写

虽然国内有几家网站上把个体户译成：self-employed entrepreneurs.但我觉得这有欠妥当.entrepreneurs是指：

person who assumes the organization,management,and risks of a business enterprise.

众所周知， 这是指企业家.个体户的意思与此差之甚远.

所以我认为应该译成：

self-employed households/people

网站上用这个译法的较多.更合中国国情.
